Ich Question?

I have a 135 gallon reef aquarium that had ich a couple of months ago. I only had two fish in it and I put them in a quaratine tank. The tank has been free of fish for about 8 weeks. I have read a few post and I am getting mixed messages. Is the tank free of ich and ready to reintroduce some fish?

I think your safe to add new fish, but I would also qt the new fish befor you add them.

Mixed messages as in people thinking it should be fallow longer? I have seen where some people are afraid of a strong mutant strain of ick which they leave the tank fallow for like 12 weeks. I think most people agree that 8 is sufficent though. How did you treat the 2 you have in QT? Great job for working on a ick free tank!
