I just got through with my tank being fallow for 10 weeks. So I put a clown that I had bought a few weeks ago that was I quantine in my tank and a few days later he has one lonely little white speck on his forehead. He's eating fine and seems perfectly normal. Could this one spot be something other than ich?

As Sarah said above. Quarantine should be four weeks minimum to allow for any parasites to exhibit behavioral or visual symptoms.

Thanks for the quick reply guys I guess I'm just super paranoid since the ich outbreak. I think he got a small piece of sand stuck on him because as I was trying to catch him to stick in quarantine the white spec came off as he was running from the net.

When it comes to parasites, paranoid is good.
