Ich questions

Think my new blue tang has ich. Some questions:
1. He's in a quarantine tank w/ live rock. Will the LR "host" or somehow contribute to the spread of the disease were I to put it back in my main tank?
2. Do the "over the counter" treatment options really work?

1, yes put nothin near your live rock.

2, do hypo on the fish look in the library of

the over the counter remidies do not work. exept copper and this is a poison hypo is much better.

remove the live rock and cure it elsewhere for 6 weeks with no fish a bucket will do.

you will need some other form of filtration in your q/t see the stickys. q/t should have mechanical filtration i use a small cannister filter.
