I know the title seems wierd, but I have ich in my tank, but not outwardly visible on any of my fish.
I had a powder blue tang which had ich, I removed him twice for hyposalinity treatment, the second time he didn't survive.
The rest of the fish remaining in the tank never show any spots or signs of ich, they act and eat completely normal - as they always have.
After losing the tang and having no signs of ich for two months, I added two Onyx clowns. They started off great, and then got ich and died in the matter of days, before I could get them to QT.
So I have come to recognize that although my fish are healthy and show no ill effects of ich, the must be carrying it and infected the clowns.
I would like to get them out and treat them, but my last failure with hyposalinity has me investigating other treatments.
I need to treat a Bartlett's Anthias, Red Spotted Blenny, and Cleaner Wrasse.
