Ich?

I recently added a pair of True percula clowns to my nano and one of them has a single white spot on its lip, ive dealt with ich before but usually there's more then just a single spot. just to give you an idea it looks like a pimple thats ready to pop, i've been trying to get a picture but he wont sit still long enough for me to take one. He is still eating, and swimming around the tank. Should i quarantine him and treat the tank with ich attack? or wait another day to c if it clears up?

I wouldn't remove the fish for one spot. If it develops into more and you think it is ich, you'll need to remove ALL fish, treat them with a copper based med, OR hyposalinity, OR tank transfer method. Your DT will need to remain completely fishless for a minimum of eight weeks. So called 'reef safe' treatments are unproven and have poor track records at best.

I agree, based on the description and location I'd hold out to see if it's a small injury (probbly with a little bit of a secndary infection).

I'd try to keep stress low and feed well for a few days and see what happens. If it is Ick, it will go away, then a week or so later you will see lots of spots. If it's an injury it will quite likely heal up, go away, and not be seen again.

I wouldn't suggest treating the fish for ick until your sure. If it is ick, the tank is most likely already infected so to speak, and the treatment options woudn't really change any. If it is not ick, the treatment could be enough stress to kill it.
