It seems that I got some ich on some of my fish, my powder blue tang has it PS I have had him for a couple of years now. My clown the oldest fish 5 years has a large white bump on his shoulder looks like a large white head pimple. I was able to catch my copperband butterfly and have him in a contanier in the main tank. I would like to transfer him to another tank that does not have ich. What should I do to keep from passing it on to the other tank. I have ordered some Proto Marin coral from Aquarium Munster also. Thanks in advance

You can't really move him without the parasite. What is in this other tank?

It is a 33 gallon tank with a corise wrasse blue damsel and a cleaner shrimp, I am having a aptisa outbreak and he is a good eater. I do have some 10 gallon tanks lying around for a quarantine tank.
