I have a small colony that hasnt been doing very well recently, today i noticed a shrimp in it. Is it a threat?

Did you dip and quarantine your corals? SPS are the most common corals found to come with various inverts that cause harm to them. I never saw a shrimp like that. On the safe side, I would say toss it.

It,s a pistol shrimps simbiotic with SPS corals. I had this shrimp in my old tank any years ago, and I never saw any damage in SPS corals. Is a beautiful animal!

I have to disagree. Most of the SPS colonies caught in the wild come with a symbolic crab in it, dipping that would kill it immediately, so I normally use a toothpick and carefully remove the crab, before dipping.

Then I just re-introduce the crab back into the tank. Symbolic crabs and shrimps don't do any harm to the SPS colonies and it's cool to watch them waving their craws trying to catch free floating particles in the water column.

Here's a shot of my A.Nana frag with a small pirate symbolic crab moved in from another nearby colony.

Re: OP - the shrimp looks like a symbolic pistol shrimp, I won't be too worried about it.

I had one in a coral and the lfs was like ohhhh its so cool to have an acro crab. Man that crab annoyed the **** outta my coral and I could even see him eating the flesh off it. Needless to say he got tossed. I wouldn't trust a crab just because he comes with a frag

I actually have a couple of wild acros with crabs in them, ive had them for a while, huge polyp extension, and decent growth. I think the relationship is amazingly beautiful. In my LFS i see at least 1 crab in all the wild caught colonies, maybe its because there stright from the reef and in the shop so quickly.

I ended up fragging the acro above and moving the shrimp to a larger piece.

Basically if your Acro crab is hairy I would toss it. But if is smooth I would keep it.
