ID Help... little white dots

These had started showing up in the tank... just wondering what they are. Very small, like 1/16". They have started to appear on the snails shells as well.

little tiny filter feeders, I have them all over the tank, I scrape the larger clusters off and leave the rest.

just keep an eye on your pumps, and such. clean them off of the pumps and such when you do your maint. on the tank.

would just llike to add when you do maintenance on your pumps, be mindful that they can be abrasive. I"ve scratched myself a few times...no big deal tho. It's only an issue when they get out of hand, like they are in my sump/fuge. I scrape them off in my display but leave them alone in my sump
