I all!
I have a 5 gallon nano tank and I recently noticed a whole bunch of flat green "things" , mostly oval in shape, about 1/8-1/4 long in the tank. They have a single red dot about the size of a pinhead on one end only. I will try to get some pictures but I do not have a macro lense for my camera.
Any idea's? They seem to be multiplying so I want to stop this before it gets out of hand

Flatworms, saliferts flatworm exit will kill them. Never had that particular type but imo the only good aquarium flatworm is a dead one.

Thanks for the info. O looked up flatworms and saw a picture that looked a lot like them.
I will try the Flatworm exit this week. Since it is only 5 gallons, what are your thoughts on dunking the rocks and corals a bucket of FWE then dunking them into a clean bucket of sw besides doing the FWE and water change in the tank? Will this be to much stress on the corals (frogspawn, zoas, star polyps, anthelia, kenya tree)

You need to treat the whole tank, if one is left behind you are back to square one. Syphon out as many as possible before treating, they release toxins when they die. I dose double what the instructions say and dose again 3-5 days later in case of eggs- double check when to dose again for eggs, I haven't had flatworms in a while and can't remember. Do a water change a couple hours after dosing. If possible remove your snails and stars, flatworm exit can kill them. Bristleworms seem to become paralyzed and float around but they pull through after a few water changes.
