Hello,
I recently posted a picture of my tank and being a newbie here I wasn't quite sure what coral this was when I got it - the lady at my trusted LFS wasn't the salt specialist as he was away at the time so I grabbed one of these and thought they were both trumpets.
Someone mentioned that it was a sun coral and to place it somewhere dark - I did so and it still hasn't seemed to open up like other peoples sun corals which are in direct light - so I'm wondering, is this a sun coral?
I've hand fed it a few times at night when its tentacles are fully extended and it definitely loves brine shrimp
Also uploading a picture of my trumpet (It is a trumpet rightttt?!) - Does anyone know how long it takes these to swell/open up? They've both been in my tank for roughly 3 days now.
Thank you
