This is some kind of coral. But I don't know what it is. My LFS gave me a couple rocks with this on it. He told me and now I can't remember....... It's the tiny green polyps (if thats what their called) in the middle of the picture. When I took the rock out of the bag it looked like it had a soft bottom that filled up with water and when I placed it in the tank it spread out over the rock......

I'd say that it's a Majano Anemone. They can spread to nuisance numbers so be careful.

That's what I was thinking..... It's very small, maybe dime size probably smaller.... I'll keep an eye on it.......

I don't know....... I'll have to wait and see but after digging around and looking at some other pictures I think it may be ricordia. He did tell me it will take a while to grow so....... Like I said, I'll keep an eye on it, and if it gets crazy...... well..... I guess I'll juice him..... lol

ok just did a closer examination... lol IDK that just sounded funny typing that....... Anyway.... Pinkish/Redish tissue attached to the rock, out of the tissue are the green bulbs... they are small tube like close to the tissue and have the green bulbs on the ends...... I could find no discernible mouth in the tissue.......

Majano anemone. Some see them as pests, but mine only spread from one to a tiiiiiiiiiiiny one in six months. I love their colors, and they don't sting my corals as my kenya tree branch has come in contact on a daily basis, and my red mushroom is right at the base.
