So I have some mushrooms that I have had for ages, but I don't really know what they are. Here are pics of some of them, I hope to learn a bit more about how to care for them. I don't even know what they like to eat. :(

These seem to do pretty well, but might not be too thrilled about my new lights. It's not that much, but I now have 4x80 watt T5 on my standard 125, and they are on the bottom. The ones that are a bit shaded seem to be happier.

These I haven't had for very long, but according to other reefers they multiply like mad. I have them isolated on the bottom for this reason.

This colony has spread all over the tank, but has been changing (losing) color since I upgraded my lights. The lighter areas are new, and only appear on the ones in direct light. Is it a bad thing?

These last two I have had for years. There were more of them, but they seem to have been wasting away. They are in a pretty low flow area, with high light. Do they need to be fed? I think I used to see them close up when I would feed the tank, but maybe they don't get enough food anymore, as I feed more pellets than I do frozen nowadays.

Thanks in advance for the help!

discoma

discoma
ricordia yuma.

discoma can get bleached with too much light. they might get used to the light in time, but the color will not be the same

I've never kept yuma, but lots of people have touble keeping them alive.

Hey, thanks so much for the help. It is indeed the yumas that are having a hard time. That rock used to be covered with them, but now there are only two left. I think I used to feed more heavily, and now they are suffering with less food in the system. I might try to get some food directly to them, but it might be a challenge with my fish going for it as well.
