this started to grow in my tank in multiple places,, when i recieved a really nice rock with yellow stalk corals on it any help would be appitiated

Most likely a sponge of some sort. Most are harmless, but there are others that can smother corals to death. Just keep an eye on it. If you need to remove it, some tweezers will work. GL.

if it starts to bother the coral i would remove/move it

thanks so much it seems to be wrapping itself around the coral! its growing really fast,,also..
