Was moving this acro colony and noticed this growth on underside making its way towards the top. Anyone Know what it is?

Looks like eggs of some kind of invert. Or, did an alien come to your house

I have a couple types of snails, cleaner shrimp, pistol shrimp, and recently removed what I believe was a gorilla crab. It was picking at this colony. I sure hope they are not from the latter. Think I should dip the piece to remove them?

Probably snail eggs, I'd just watch them and see what happens, would be cool to know.

Googled images of all the above, found nothing similar. I an too curious to kill it off, so I will update if something interesting develops. Thanks

I'd sure be inclined to move the coral off the rock and provide some barrier to its spreading. Perhaps I clear plastic deli container with nylon screen over the top to contain till sure its not undesirable egg cluster.
