Ok, I have tried to take pictures of this thing several times, but my digital camera just does not seem to work with close ups on my tank, so my problems are these...

1) What kind of camera can I get or am I just using mine wrong to get closeups of tank inhabitants. I have a kodak easyshare 5.0 mp camera

2) Every now and then I notice these two very thin (like a piece of fishing line) white looking "worms" extend out of my rock, they are very, very thin and delicate looking making me think they're not bristleworms. They have many very small appendages (thinner than a piece of hair). Any ideas? reef safe?

Thanks again in advance.

I have them also. I actually saw the whole animal a couple of times. They measure about 1-1.5" and are mini brittle stars. At least mine are.

the one you have will work. you just have to learn to work it :D. for starts, make sure you are using the macro setting to take close up pics. that makes the biggest differnce. im sure if you go to the photo section of the forum others can get you pointed in the correct way. i have used your camara(friends), and they will take some great shots.

I have an Olympus stylus 600 and I love it.

What you need is any camera that has Macro capabilities (close up shots). Check the owners manual of your camera and see if it has this mode before buying another one.
