thank you guys. Being a newbie at this i first thought it was a derasa. Can you guys give me more info and exp on squamosa. It's about 5 to 6 inches and has full mantle expansion. Its my fav livestock so far

It could very well be derasa (i've seen many with a similar pattern), does it have scutes or not scutes on the shell? derasa will not, squamosa will, easiest way to tell them apart

it does have scutes on shell so i guess its a squamosa
