Can anyone Id this for me please???? (blob under leather) It's touching the leather. Should I remove it?

Hard to tell from the pic but i'd guess some sort of sponge.

Is it hard or soft? How long has it been there? Are there any kind of polyps or anything on it or is it smooth?

it's been there for 2 days, smooth with no polyps. not sure it it's hard or soft. didn't want to touch it but it looks soft. It's pretty cool looking actually.

Cant say for sure without a much closer pic but like i said, my 1st guess would be some kind of sponge.

Hard to tell but kinda looks like red bubble algae. Treat the same as regular valonia. Can you post a bigger pic?
