I purchased 10 lbs LR yesterday, noticed tonight that on 2 of the rocks, there are these small brown pipes objects, with little white "feathers" if you will branching from the pipe object, sorry no picture, don't have a camera good enough to get a good picture, these things are very tiny, maybe 1/4 inch long, is this good or bad

Please tell me they don't look like this... Hopefully what you are seeing is just a common feather duster. :)

no, not that big...I don't know if color is a difference or not, but there are like 5-6 feather looking well feathers....but they are white not that tan/brown look

Figure 5. A common small sabellid, possibly an individual in a species of Sabella, photographed through the wall of a reef tank. Note the non-calcareous nature of the tube, with the worm visible inside it. The dark spots on the tentacles are eyespots and allow the worm to rapidly withdraw should the illumination rapidly change, such as when a fish approaches. The tentacle crown is about half an inch across.

Refer to that site for picture....
compared to the size of it in the picture it is really small, I have a lot of the brown pipe objects, only a few have the white feathers...picture coming....

Looks to be a harmless tube worm, or feather duster. I wouldn't be stressed about that little guy. Now, the hydroids I posted above... that's another story. :D Nice rock, btw. Got a full tank shot?

aquascape..haha nothing special, dont make me laugh at myself too hard.....live rock I love the look of, it is Bali LR, cost me both arms and put my kidney on ebay...lol I added 2 damsels on Tuesday, tank has been up since Saturday the 14th of this month....my LFS which is only the owner and his daughter have been in the saltwater business for 20 years next month, they have awesome tanks, his prices can be on the high end, but excellent quality fish and LR, I will get pictures up on my site once I get more LR and have the time to take the pictures, I was thinking of actually making a page dedicated to my SW tank....any ideas of a .com
