yep! they may hatch, some may survive. odds are not with them however. most the time they become fish food. of the 15 or so strings of eggs i have had, i can count 20 babies. some of thoses im not 100% are ceriths.

i always leave mine, its up to you. they will hatch in a few days then you can go back to cleaning the glass like normal.
