I only have a crappy point and shoot digi, these are the best of the 50 photos I took.
I found this guy in my 75g when I reached in to upright my fallen gorgonian. I thought he was a sponge until my finger touched him and he shot away (this guy is quick) I quickly put him in a clean glass filled with SW and he watched me as I looked at him. He has 2 little black eyes on stalks and has several tentacles/ feelers on his body. He has placed a small iridecent shell on his head. When I moved him to the glass he "stood" on the rear portion of his foot and closed the front portion together like he had zipped up his shirt. Once "standing" he scoped out his jail cell and then tracked me as i moved the glass around trying to give myself a better view. If I got too close for his comfort, he would retract his eyes and feelers and ball up. He would then poke out one of his eyes to see if I was still there.
I'm not sure where he came from, but this tank has been up for 4+ years. I'm not sure if he hitchhiked in on something new or not, but I have never seen him or his kind in the tank (day or night) I need to know if he is dangerous and if he should be put back in the display, banished to the sump, or given a new home in the septic tank.
Please advise!
Thanks,
Joe
