Yes, they can eat small fish. It is the craziest neon green I have ever seen in a coral. I asked the guy I bought it from if it was because thats what I thought at first also. But, he said that he had it for 2 years and it had never eaten one of his fish. So, I figured... why not?

yep, they are nice. i also have it for 18 months, no sign of eating any fish yet

Mine my be neon green but not as crazy as that. WoW great find. All i know is from my experience is that this colour of mushroom likes a little more light than the plain ordinary ones.
