It's my friend who bought that.

He say it get shiny like a jewel and eat algae. It's near 1.5in long.

Not a cucumber, not with a foot like that. It's a mollusc. Gets shiny? Does the skin covering the shell retract? Looks like it might be a cowry of some sort.

Look like a cowrie...

yes looks like a cowrie. the one I had almost never showed its shell also. you had to touch it with the net or something to get it to retract its mantle to see the shell.
