This is my first time posting, and I hope I do this right.

(Only cell phone camera was avail.) I have absolutely no idea what these are, but I started with six, and three weeks later, I've got 15. The tube at the root of each is usually orange.

I have only had this tank, (which is my first), for about 4 months.

aptasia is what it looks like to me but i could be wrong. if it is get rid of it with joes juice or something like that

look up glass/Aiptasia Anemone, they are pest and I am pretty sure that is what they are just a lighter color than normal..hth

Definitely aiptasia. Kill 'em all! Joe's Juice, Kalkwasser paste, lemon juice, and boiling hot RO water injected into them or with the thicker products, smother them and siphon them out later. Be careful with the pastes - you don't want it to land on other corals when you turn the pumps back on.
There's a hundred threads on here that give details on each method. Sometimes peppermint shrimp (careful not to get camel shrimp) can be helpful, but they often just get lazy and eat the other fish food.
