I would have to stress it to get the PE down some.
I got it from my LFS.. The owner called me specifically for it.
He told me he got it from the west coast somwhere as he travels alot
and i am the only one in my area with any SPS. I will get a better pic tonight and post. At first glance what do you think it may be?
A fuzzy Acro would be all I can say for now. With the PE covering the corallites, and outline of the skeleton it's like trying to figure out who Cousin It looks like.
Your Acropora abrotanoides gets that fuzzy? Or do you mean A. abrolhosensis? I would lean more towards A. abrolhosensis, but there is still no way to be certain with out seeing the shape and pattern of the corallites, and even then it will just be a closer guess. http://coral.aims.gov.au/factsheet.jsp?speciesCode=0059
I am thinking it is not A. millepora as well, but I don't think it is a Montipora species. I can see two axial corallites at least so it is a Acropora species. It's just too fuzzy to guess which one tho. http://coral.aims.gov.au/factsheet.jsp?speciesCode=0252
