A sponge is definitely a possibility. Can you take another picture of it without the blues on?

Yeah, too hard to see with the actinics on. Try getting a picture when the whites are brighter or during the day when a little more sun light is present. We are looking forward to a newer photo so we can help you ID whats in your tank.
