picked it up from the lfs in a spree of just pointing and picking a bunch of frags.

is this a green staghorn?

I don't think its a staghorn...looks like a Hyndaphora to me.

If you plan on keeping this with sps be very careful. From what I understand, they let out some pretty viscous sweeper tentacles. The sps will loose the battle.

Interesting..that's the first time I've heard that about a hydnaphora. I have one and I haven't seen any kind of sweeper tenticles.

Not necessarily sweeper tentacles, but it will esude its mesenterial filaments (lining of stomach) in order to digest competitors.
