I have these fuzzy cone looking things growing all over the back of my tank, I tried to get a pic but cant get a good close up. any ideas?

oh my gosh I have hundreds of pineapple sponges growing on my back wall. Thanks for your help

Yep, scypha sponge also know commonly as a pineapple sponge. Harmless filter feeders. Cute little buggers.

At their population peak in my tank they were plugging filter intakes, but in a short time their population stabilized and now I just have a few scattered here and there.
