A closer look...

A closer look...

So i just sat down, after not hearing any feedback, and took a magnifying glass to the side of my tank up against one of these things. It looked as if it was attempting to (engulf like movement) eat the little bugs and pods that are on the sides of my tank. Also i noticed a lot more than before and they seem to be coming off of one rock. I never noticed them until i got my Cleaning crew installed. Help please!

also, they didnt really seem to bother my blue hermits because it slithered its way under his legs and he just kept eating away at the crap in my tank like nothing was happening. If that helps at all.

It is a flatworm of some sort (maybe Amphiscolops spp.). They do eat copepods, so that does fit your description. They are easily introduced and their presence is usually transient.

What now?

What now?

Should i be worried about them? I mean im sure by the numbers that im seeing right now they will just continue to grow right? What measures should i be taking? My tank is fairly new also, about 3 weeks old.

No, Iwouldn't be concerned. They tend to die down and pretty much disappear after a while. These are extremely common in newer tanks.
