ID Please

Sorry no pic the critters are to small to get a pic of without having a magnifying glass to take the pic through.

I found a whole bunck of little white bug looking things crawling on he inside of the glass on the kids new 10 gal system. They look like tiny white dots with a short translucent tail. Does anyone happen to have an idea as to what they may be? I am going to try to get a magnifying glass to get a pic of them.

They look like the second pic on the top row now you can see why I couldn't get a pic without a magnifying glass to shoot through LOL. So they are good to have in the tank it only has some zoo's in there and a firefish so nothing really that will eat them.

I'm not sure how much of a problem, or if it's related, but I have zoo's in my tank with a bunch of pods. The pods have been all over the zoo's and they zoo's have not opened in quite some time. I even tried dipping the zoos. When I did this, a lot things came off, but I guess not everything.

I don't know if it's just coincidence, or if they actually harm the zoos.

Mine were doing quite fine until I initially caused them to close by accidentally burning them.

For all I know, the pods could've been on the zoo's at that point and I just never noticed them. Once I screwed up, and burnt them, of course I was "micro" watching them all the time, and that's how I noticed the pods crawling all over it!

Pods are good, they are a sign of a healthy tank. And they are a food source for some fish, shrimp, crabs. In fact I wouldn't doubt if your zoanthids actually eats them too if one gets caught on it as it's closeing.

Pods, while I can imagine they could irritate a zoanthid to close in the same way touching one will, I can't see them harming one.

If your zoanthids won't open, you may want to check for a white fungus looking stuff on it, or small white dots. There is a diease that effects zoanthids at times, but I am unsure of the name of it, or when and how to treat it.
But there is also a type of nudibranch that eats zoanthids. This one I have experience with. This is a small nudibranch that looks like a fuzzy slug. If it has been feeding well, the fuzzy stuff on it's back will be the same color as your zoanthids. This is due to the fact that as the nudi eats your zoanthids it stores the zooaxles? I think is what they are called, that create the color of the zoanthids, this camoflauges them.
The eggs of this nudibranch will look like small white dots at the base of a zooanthid.
These if caught early are easy to treat with a simple fresh water dip of the zoanthid colony. but if they have been in there long, they may have inhabitated all of your zoanthids, and anywhere in between.

I added a small zoo frag about the size of a loonie and a firefish. I had noticed them before that but was trying to get pics of them (impossible) so I just posted the question.
