It has stayed in the same place the short period of time it's been in the tank. It does get smaller amd larger in size over the period of a day. Currently, I think it's the most spectacular thing in the tank -- take a look at the post previous to yours to see it.

I thought this was a yellow ball sponge (see attached). If not, what is it and is it healthy?

another sponge...

if a sponge is on the way out, you will know it, they will get a white fuzz on them or melt, remove rock from tank, let your nose tell you, if it smells bad, it is bad...the one in the pic is fine!

I haven't seen an ammonia spike... no surprise due to what I've already done in the refugium. Right now, I'm working on the nitrites, at least one mantis and at least one gorilla. One each if the other three are prcelains like I think. I got a nice 4 inch Tiger Tail too.
