Can anyone id this? It doesn't look like the pics of hair algae I've seen.
In real life it is dark green, only on the sand, and has been growing over the last 3 weeks. Started as a light green dusting and has developed the filaments you see. My parameters are as follows:
Temp: 80
pH: 8
NH3/NO2/NO3: 0/0/0
Alk: 7
Ca: 460
PO4: 0
SG: 1.026
The tank has been up since late Jan, has 2 cleaner shrimps, 1 blue chromis, 3 blue leg hermits, 3 nassarius, and 7 ceriths. Tunze 9010 which pulls green tea colored skimate, 2 Koralia #3. Currently only has a NO fluorescent light(soon to be a Aquatinics TX5), is ~10ft from a window which has only recently been providing ambient light. Feeding has been Dianichi Marine FX occasionally, Omega One Marine flakes, Mysis shrimp in small quantities.
Here is a pic:
Any thoughts and how do I get rid of it?
Thanks in advance!
