been looking at pictues all day and cant find a aiptasia that looks like this, but i did find this,

While its tentacles are straight, this is called a Curlycue Anemone. It looks like an enormous aiptasia, but some people like them. They are not a host for fish though. Reef-safe-ish.

That you have an aiptasia.

That is not an aiptasia. Look at the wierd apron of tentacles on the rock. I don't know what it is but aiptasia doesn't have that apron.

seems to me to be two animals the apron looks likea mushroom or something and the top looks like an aptasia

no its all one piece...its foot is actually in a hole of the LR. he does and can pull the "apron up and in"

I thought it was two different things as well. So i retract my statement of aiptasia. No clue here.
