Gone Postal
I netted a fish about a year and a half ago as a juvi. I thought it might have been a gold striped neon goby.

I've never been able to get good photos of him - he hasn't learned to sit still for the photos yet. These are the best shots I got of him early on when he was only about 3/4" in length.

A year and a half later I have no doubts that this is a wrasse but which one, I have no idea. It is now about 3.5 - 4" in length and definately has an appetite for small crustaceans.

He is now changing colors into adulthood and these are the best shots I have so far.

I'm leaning towards maybe a yellow head wrasse ????

Any guesses?

I'll also be looking for a new home for him as the tank he is in now will be torn down within the next month or so. So if any of you wrasse lovers with a FOWLR tank might be interested then shoot me a PM.

I just peeked into my Marine Aquarium book by Hargreaves, and even though the pictures are old, yours looks kind of like a juvenile version of the Mexican rock wrasse, Talassoma lucasanum. That's my shot. I'll see what pics I can pull of it online to compare.
