the picture looks like the spots are black but its little white spots all over the fish. my tang was fine when I went to Florida for 2 weeks, i come home and he looks like this. not sure what happened. but definitely little white spots even though the picture looks like they're black

Look at Black Ich.

Looks like a mix of ich. Fresh water dip to get rid of the black ick. Remove all your fishes into a QT and treat with Chloroquine phoshate.

oh and leave your tank fallow for 8 weeks or more.
