the commonest snail hitchhiker around. It's a Stomatella, a snail with a flattened shell like an abalone's rather than a slug, a grazer, and beneficial for your tank.
I agree with Leslie its a stomatella and chances are if you look close you probably have a bunch of them. THey are very well camoflauged, they also breed rapidly and last time I check there was one online source to purchase them at 2$ a whack.
