My guess is the infamous Ophiothrix fragilis...

Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Echinodermata
Subphylum: Asterozoa
Class: Ophiuroidea
Order: Ophiurida
Suborder: Ophiurina
Family: Ophiotrichidae
Scientific name: Ophiothrix fragilis

aka Brittle Star :) They are ok...and will be found everywhere.

OK so after some research, i came to the conclusion that these are DIGITATE HYDROIDS, and asll the pics i have seen are exactly the same. IM worried because most people say that cooking the rock is the only way to rid them. THIS is NOT an option for me since my corals are already encrusting in rock. What you i do, is there a fish or shrimp that will eat these. OR do they eventualy die off like some people say. Im reducing feeding to every other day hoping this will starve them, however im worried it will affect my fish..THIS sucks

Wow, hard for me to see anything but purple and 2 zoas. Glad it was identified. I have not had to deal with these so I have no first hand knowledge. From what I read it might be best to take the rock out and cook it. How hard would it be for you to remove any corals or zoas? Are there a lot more zoas than the 2 in the picture? GL with whatever you do.
