ideal mushroom lighting

if i were to set up a small mushroom tank what would be the best lighting to use?
do ricordia need the same amt of light or a little more?
i plan on doing a 20 or 30 gallon aquarium

im trying to decide between 2 t5 ho bulbs without individual reflectors (not as bright) , power compact (2x65watt?) or NO lighting. i know mushrooms are low light but im not sure what lighting is best for color and growth. any input is appreciated.

thanks

Well, I'm no expert, but one of the few corals that like me are the 'shrooms! I'd say definately some lighting. I have had them under a plain flourescent (slowly wither) and under one high spec and one actinic (doing and spreading well). my ricordia seems happy but doesn't reproduce.

I hope my feeble attempt at advice helps!

i use a 96w 50/50 (10k + o3act) 4-tube bulb and also a 55w "true blue" actinic bulb on my 29g. ...both PC.

i've kept mushrooms, ricordia, xenia, zoos, and leathers w/ no problems.

I've kept mushrooms under T5's PC's and NO. They live under all thrive best under T5's, PC's are next and just kinda stay the same under the NO.

JME.
