Ideal pump/powerhead for 5 gallons?

I've got a 5 gallon EcoPico tank at the office, and I have a question about pumps/flow. The tank came with an 80gph powerhead/filter, which I currently use. Everything in the tank seems to be very happy, but I have some dead zones, and don't get much surface agitation. I think I could use a bit more flow. I have a Koralia Nano, which is 240 gph, but (unfortunately) this is too fast for my tank. I've tried positioning it in every way I can think of, and it just causes havok in my setup.

So my question is whether or not there's a good quality pump that will give me a happy medium? I'm thinking somewhere in the 120-150 gph range. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

I've used a Koralia Nano in a 5.5 gallon tank before. I placed the powerhead on the back wall in a corner near the substrate, and pointed it upwards and slightly towards the middle. It made for great surface agitation plus the flow dissipated against the front of the tank.
