Ideas?

I have this green acro that was doing just fine, with good colors. Now on the underside of some of the branches, it started to recede slowly, and those branches are browning out. The remaining branches look good. Is it possible to have some sort of bacterial infection? It started about a month after I started using bio-pellets. I took the biopellets off line, as some of the corals were losing color, and have since recovered. No other changes. It is not pests. I have battled redbugs and aefw, and it is definately not from them. It looks different, almost like an infection. I also checked for them also with a magnifying glass and blasting with a turkey baster. All other corals in the tank are doing good. Water parameters are stable right where I want them. Ideas??

I know that with my Cladocora arbuscula if I directly squirt it with an eye dropper it will visibly bleach right before my eyes. I have also squirted my montipora to get a piece of debris off it (before I had my heads adjusted properly) and I saw it loose color after the squirting.

I think the major contributor here is the biopellets. If I'm not mistaken these are marketed as phoshpate reducers? Sudden drops in phosphate will stress your animals.

I am guessing it is biopellet related. I am just wondering if possibly the coral was stressed causing it to become vulnerable to a bacterial infection. I removed the biopellets over a month ago and all other corals colored right back up. Even the healthy parts on this coral colored right back up with a vivid green, and great polyp extension(except for the affected branches).
