Identification help

Anyone know what this is? I've never seen it before but it just survived one hell of a tank crash. I haven't bought anything but fish and CUC for around 8 months so he must've been in here for a long time. Is it maybe a barnacle? It's not a reef tank so I don't care if it's safe I just wanna know what it is. Thanks!

Bad angle, but I think it's a stomatella snail. Does it look kinda like a slug with a fingernail on top? They have very small, flat shells. Harmless little algae-eater.
 
Betta is probably right, given the fuzzy picture.

There's no way it is a barnacle though. They are very sensitive and wouldn't have survived a tank crash.
