Does anyone know a good source to identify clams? I got a hitch hicker clam of some sort. My tank is pretty small but I like to take care of the critters I get so I figure I need to identify this clam. I took a picture.
As I said it is a hitch hicker. It was on the rock my mushrooms came on. I didn't know what it was so when the second day I had it home I was re-arranging the rock and it was stuck. I turned it so I can see it now and it did open this am. It was a little tan and brown feathery looking inside.
It is in the very center. To me it just looks like rock here pretty much. But after reading I know it's a clam of some kind right?
So what are my chances with this little guy and what does he need?
