Identify Crazy encrusted worm-like

Orange-Brown, hard, encrusted, and worm-like. Puts out a mucus-like stringy web. Has not appeared to stress any animals or hurt them. But what the heck is it? haha

It's a vermetid snail. They're filter feeders, so they're generally considered harmless, but their webs have been documented to annoy corals and slow their growth. IMO, they're annoying so I smush them.

But if they don't bother any of my corals, then it could be beneficial, correct?
