No offense but hard to id from those pics. From what I can see I doubt any of the three are SPS, sorry.:mixed:

First one may be a favia, 3rd looks like a candycane

Btw all 3 are lps

To me, the first one looks like a small group of closed zoa, the second a hammer coral and the third is too hard to tell but I would agree with gig

My guess, the first one is a turbinaria, pagoda cup coral. Second one I agree with the rest of you guys, branching frog spawn. Third I'm going with gig also, candycane.

All LPS too BTW.:)

#1: Gig, my first thought on the first one was a goniopora as well. The polyps on the far left and top center look like they have a ton of tentacles (which made me think goniopora.)

#2: Euphyllia sp. (My guess on species is commonly called "frogspawn")

#3: Caulastrea sp. ("Candy cane" coral)

All-in-all, they're all considered LPS. As for why your last coral is bleaching, it could be that it was stung (possibly while in the store for sale), could have a powerhead pointing too hard at it causing tissue loss, or several other reasons. We'd need to know more about your tank.

With your mention of a power head I looked and I believe that you are right. How much light do they need. I have moved everything around today except for a few things due to new dry rock purchase and I put the candy cane on the bottom of the tank. I have a reg 55gal with 65 watt pc coralife 48in light. It was only about 2ft away from the power head in direct line with it so I am sure that was the culprit. But I would like to know if the light is enough that I can place it at the bottom of the tank? I REALLY appreciate all the help you guys are giving me. I am pretty green in all of this but I have read and am still reading so much from people like you who give your time to help us noobs!

Also after looking at pics I believe that the first one is the turbinaria, the second is in fact a frog spawn, and of course the third is the candy cane.
