Got my live rock today, didnt find any hitch hickers so i hope there just not there.
Let me know if these are dead and should pull them off. Also i have no idea what they are.

first one looks like a dead Calcareous Algae. maybe Halimeda sp. it may come back, hard to say.

the second, is a skeleton of a coral. i dont see any live polyps so its probably gone for good.

i wouldnt worry about pulling either out.
