I hope any mods don't get upset with this, but here goes.
I am a resident who is a victim of Chairman Stroger's budget cuts and out of work until July1. As of now, it is my GF's salary alone supporting me and the 2 kids. As you can imagine, it is hard finding a job for only 3 months.
I have a hobby of woodworking (gotta put my engineering degree to use somehow) and love building canopies and stands (among other things). This is not a career and I have no intention of making a living out of this, just that we need a little extra money to make ends meet.
If you look in my gallery, I have posted pics of a few of the projects I have done. I only do high-quality workmanship with top-end materials. Far better than anything store bought.
I also am very good at electric work so hooking up retrofit lighting or custom electric panels is no problem either.
If you want something built, I will be happy to quote you a price.
I live in the west Chicago burbs so delivery is no problem (depending on size).
