If you have a UV sterilizer running, is this normal?

The steralizer is only 4 months old and I was working on the tank last night and saw the bulb was off. I took it all apart and it looks like everything is fine but the bulb wont fire. Did the bulb go bad and if so how can I tell? Going to contact Marine solutions next to see about warrenty.

Bulb shouldnt go in 4 months IMO

It burnt out for what ever reason.

They should last more than a year but they are effective for only a year or less.
