I'm back. Need some advice.

Well, I broke down my 80 gallon bowfront and I don't think I'm going to start it back up again for a few years until I get a bigger place. That thing just took too much time and cash.

Anyway, I have a 20 gallon via aqua tank with a cpr2 backpack, stand, PC lighting and oh about 180 lbs of kaelini. I'm thinking I won't be able to fit all of the rock in there but I'm sure I have enough.

Anyway, I have 2 250 watt hqi lights and ballasts from the big tank. I'm thinking 250 will be overkill and should get a 150w with electronic ballast for space.

Anyone know a good place to order a custom canopy from?

250 wouldn't be awful for a 20 gallon. If you plan on SPS, LPS, and softies... you could put the high light corals up top, and lower light corals down low.

And putting a MH in a canopy will most likely lead to heat issues.... so if you do put it in one, make sure you have plenty or air exchange... i.e. a fan or two.

yeah I'm planning on a 14 or 15 inch canopy so it's got some space between the water and 3 or 4 fans.
