Thanks guys for the advice. RC is a great place to learn and meet people! :bum:

I recently got my sump work, everything is running perfectly! Pump is a little loud, but it comes with the territory. There is no problem with a power outage, sump will hold whatever is thrown its way. I am a happy camper! The only drawback was the tank is a little cloudy, but thats because of the sand that I put in and then took all of it out.

I need more flow in my tank, so that will be the next step. Then AC Jr. :smokin: Yada yada... I'm happy. This is the 1st time with this tank that things are looking good!

Thank you!

Got to go rack up the credit cards again! lol

Here are pictures of the sump set up. Don't laugh, I had to make it happen with the space I have. ;)

The water is kind of cloudy green, I think its either from the natural saltwater from the sea I bought or again the refugium water that mixed with the sand.

No tank shots yet, but it looks a lot better! Might have to upgrade to a Mag5 or 7 because this pump does not look like it is pumping enough.

Will you be adding a light to the fuge?

Good point Jon.....Yes Eric you need a good light...if you need suggestions.....let me know Ive tried several lights till I got the one that works good
Brian

Corals are doing great! I love them, they opened right away the same day I brought the home. Thanks Jose

Brain - I was told to use a lighting system that is sold at Home Depo, but right now its like 9:30 so off to Lowes I go. I am going to be using a 36w system. But 1st I have to go look for it... starting now :)

I'll also be picking up some egg crate so I can place it on top, so that the light can sit on top of it. Also, another to do thing is to make a fan set up. Looks like I will probably be using a clip on 6" fan or some sort from wal-mart.

Evaporation rate is off the wall! Came home and noticed I lost a lot, good thing I ordered my Refractometer. but till then its the old swing arm. Good news, skimmer is working non-stop and doing a great job. Oh yeah no mircobubbles!!! YAY!!!

try to hang on the ligth the closer to the sump more water will evaporate it happent to me o and heat will kick in to if you pu it on top to close
