What is chaeto (sp?)? What is it's purpose? Where in the tank is it used?

lol not a dumb question i didnt know what the hell it was either. its a macroalae thats kept mostly in the refugium it helps ur tank with absorbing nutrients to help eliminate algae and is a good place for pod growth

Chaetomorpha is a macroalgae commonly grown in refugiums. It's advantage is that it doesn't root and invade the main tank. It's used as a natural way to remove nutrients from your tank water.
