I have a established 120(about 2 years) with about 100lbs of live rock and ran by a Euro-Reef CS Skimmer with the following fish: 3 yellow-tail blue damsels,lg gold-striped maroon, porc. puffer, hippo tang, and scribbled rabbit fish that are all doing very well. Now that the tank is nice and established i want to add 1 or 2 more nice show fish and since x-mas is around the corner...lol.
I was thinking 1 or possibly 2 of these fish to add:
Harl. Tusk
Imperator Angel
Sm Clown Trigger(1-2")
Im very skepitical on a clown, besides that fact that it will eventually outgrow my tank, but that i may get one of those infamous ones you here about that is fine for months or even years and then it snaps and kills everything--but they are just so colorful and have so much personality like my beloved puffer.
Any suggestions for the best fit?

Honestly, I don't think your 120 is going to be big enough for an imperator (at least not for one approaching anything near adult size). I think you are pretty close to capacity - perhaps you could add the tuskfish.

The porcupine puffer, hippo tang and rabbitfish will all grow to a foot or more as adults. That's a lot of bio-load in a 4 or 5 foot tank, not to mention the smaller fish.

If you really want another trigger, I'd consider a Picasso or related Rhinocanthus - they are colorful, have personality, stay around 12" and are less likely than a clown trigger to end up with major aggression issues (though it's certainly a risk).

I wouldn't add more than one more fish that gets 8-12" at adult size; I'd go with a Picasso or a HT.

If you do get a clown trigger the 1-2 inches is too small and usually die at that size. Go for the 2.5 size, they will stay under control at that size and if they grow up with the fish they are alot less aggressive. I got mine at 2 inches last year and now he is 4-4.5 inches and a model citizen, the most docile fish in my tank, he is still growing too, I expect by this time next year for him to be 6-7 inches at his current growth rate.

As for the imp. angel, I wouldn't do it, I have one of those too, I got him at aroun 3 last december and now he is massive at 7.5 inches, he is constantly on the move and I dont think a 4 foot tank is bog enough for him, at his current growht rate he'll be 10 inch fish by next year. They also in my opinion are a demon fish with a very high aggression level( at least mine is).

I second the vote for the Tusk. You really can't beat them, they are beautiful, hardy, can hold their own, and relatively friendly.
